Truly amazing work! So realistic. And the design of the spaceships is verry interesting. I guess propulsion engines are on the bottom, while the "steering" ones are on the sides on the back part of the ship? And I can only begin to imagine what all the other bits of the ship might serve for.. Could you please PLEASE post a higher resolution image? I would REALLY like to see as much details as there are! BTW I love the towers in the back too! Seeing the front part of the landscape makes me think this was a planet that started to crumble due to massive continent movements or something, and the fleet is maybe an exodus..
Really really fantastic art!

THanks a lot. I do have a little story for the piece, but I thought it would be interesting leaving it for people to create their own. :D The ship design came together slowly at first but things fell into place. Your right about the Thrusters though, the tail end would turn first and point the thrusters. Smaller thrusters around the ship would make finer adjustments. I will look for that file and see if I Have a higher res image of the ship :)
